What does my child have to wear to the lessons? |
| Nothing much, don't go out and buy anything special. |
What happens if it rains? |
| If it is spitting then the classes will go ahead, we don’t like cancelling classes at the drop of a hat, because to cancel them and make them up it’s not always convenient for parents.
In the unusual circumstances that it is canceled you will get a text and email message giving you details of a makeup lesson.
We don’t like you losing your money |
Just wanted to check something with you. Are the kids grouped together by age? Or just by the time slot we've chosen, eg could my son end up playing with an eight year old? If it's the latter, do you have a time slot that has a particularly young group |
| We try to put the kids in a similar strength so when they play a game in the last 10 or so minutes things are even, and there are no one stronger or weaker than anyone else. We try to watch this carefully. If you notice there is a difference in abilities then lets speak to the coach because I have given him/her the power to arrange with you to move times or classes. |
Would it be possible to come watch a game or for my almost 4yr old(4 in May) to trial a lesson where we could pay for the initial lesson to see how he likes it then proceed to enroll for the place should he be happy? |
| As a dad myself I am the first not to force children to do anything.
Our procedure regarding trial lessons is offer you a complimentary lesson.
You need to enroll in a group that is not full, you will receive an invoice, do not pay it right away.
Once you have had the complimentary lesson either pay the invoice or let us know you do not wish to continue.
The website is live and once you enrol it updates your child's name into the group automatically and sends you the invoice.

Hello, I am interested in enrolling my son into one of the Ashgrove groups on Saturday, but unfortunately we can not make the 9am session, which appears to be the only session currently with spaces available. Could you please advise me if you have any vac |
| At the beginning of the year some kids will not come back and they don't let me know until lessons have started.
I have adjusted the availability to 7 in the group so that you can enroll in one of the later groups, just refresh your page and the later groups will appear in the drop down box of the enrollment form.

I was just wondering if you are emailing the invoice for payment. The parents for the 8.30am class on Saturday at Ashgrove are wondering when to pay and if they should pay on Saturday 30th?
Can you also confirm the amount - is it $100 or $90? When I re |
| There are 9 Saturdays in the term, and the website works out the invoice so sends out a bill for $90.
The fees are basically $10 per lesson. If children are sick they can make up the lesson.
If it rains there will be a makeup lesson arranged and you will be both emailed and sent a text message.
I am sending out invoices. No payments go to the coaches, payment options are bank transfer, paypal credit card or cheque posted to 4 Richwill Street The Gap, 4061.
All these details will be on the invoice. No to worry.

I am checking if each lesson lasts 30 minutes?
|
| Yes each lesson last 30 minutes. The first part of the lesson is a warm up, then the middle of the lesson, the kids learn ball skills and the last 10 minutes or so they play a game, so the lesson is not just practice, practice, practice. When they play the game, is when the parents come alive. |
My youngest son has his 4th birthday in May. Is he able to join already? He seems to be quite co-ordinated with a ball.
|
| Yes he can join, we can't really discriminate on age, because sometimes kids are quite good with balls skills and concentration and are busting to learn.
All you need to do is enroll, his name will appear immediately in the group of your choice, and an invoice will be send to your inbox. The website calculates the number of weeks left in the term at $10.

I am interested in enrolling my almost 6 year old son into lessons for Tiny Soccer. We are currently looking at the Friday, 3.45pm class, please advise the length of lesson time, the cost and if there is a certain commitment requirement (how many weeks?) |
| The lessons are 30 minutes long, for the first few minutes there is a warm-up.
The middle of the lesson the children learn various ball skills The last 10 minutes or so they play a game.
When you enroll the website works out the number of weeks left for the term and multiplies it by $10, which is the amount you pay for the rest of the term.
Tiny Soccer goes all year round with the State School term. |
Today I have enrolled my two boys into tiny soccer, I understand that it is term based so if I pay today via Internet banking when would my children be able to start soccer and If i have missed four lessons already can they be made up. I am trying to unde |
| You just pay for the rest of the term.
You should have received an invoice by email, which is the amount you pay.

After reading your website AGAIN i realized that you have to be a certain age hence i thought you would realize when you had to enter in the D.O.B.
Is Annabelle aloud to join she is only 2.10 turns 3 on 16/6/2010. Please confirm. What happens if she d |
| Regarding losing all your money. Here's a story why I have my money back policy.
I joined the gym at the Gap and had to sign a 6 month contract, and had an injury. I had to fight to get my money back. I did not get all my money back and came away from the Gym disappointed because I believe they did not believe that I had an injury.
When it comes to kids they are unpredictable. I am a parent and I am the first not to push a child. There is a thin line between pushing a child and teaching them to give up, so it's hard as a parent.
What I offer parents who are not sure, is a trial lesson.
You enroll via the website, and your childs' name will appear in the group you have chosen and an invoiced will be sent to your inbox. Do not pay this invoice. Let her have a go. If your child likes it then pay for the rest of the term if not then please let me know and I will take your childs' name off the website and coaches roster.
Chat to the coach and possible we need to put him/her in another group with kids him/her same strength the following week or the coach and yourself might come up with some other idea as to help make this experience a good one. |
Hi There, I have a three and a half year old boy who is keen for soccer. We live at Macgregor so Mt Gravatt would be the closest venue. I was interested to know some more details about the lessons etc, |
| Each lesson is 30 minutes. The first part of the lesson is a warm up for about 2 or 3 minutes, then they learn 3 sets of ball skills and the last 10 or 12 minutes they play an actual game.
Initially as you can imagine it's a little chaotic but they soon get into it.
We put the kids into strength ability and prefer not to put them in age groups, because we don't like to have one either much stronger or much weaker than the rest in the group, it changes the personality of the group to its detriment
You can enroll online and her name will appear immediately into the group that you choose and you will be sent an invoice. The website works out the number of weeks left in the term multiplied by $11 per lesson.
